Compare capture conditions, participant context and permitted uses before combining motion data.
Product context
VayuDeck connects rehabilitation-related motion research, immersive interfaces and a physical product concept. Motion-capture datasets, gait research and hand-tracking examples support different development questions. These public references preserve that distinction and link to original publishers. They do not expose participant-level records, assert clinical validation or imply that a proposed physical belt or device is already a tested treatment product.
Using these references
CMU motion-capture material and PhysioNet gait collections differ in sensors, populations and intended use. Preserve the original collection identifier and documentation when interpreting a signal. The older gait database has teaching-use constraints that should not be generalized to other collections. Neurological-disorder research data does not provide a basis for diagnosing a visitor. Multimodal recordings require alignment and an understanding of each sensor's units; a common time axis alone does not make measurements clinically interchangeable.
Evidence boundaries
This is informational research and software context, not diagnosis, treatment advice or a recommendation for an individual. Dataset licenses, participant protections and research-use limitations remain applicable to every downstream use.
